We have observed that several participants of APS 2024 are experiencing difficulties in paying the registration fees with their Visa cards. This issue is often due to restrictions imposed by banking institutions, particularly in Africa, which block international transactions on Visa cards when they are linked to the client’s bank account for security reasons. To resolve this, you may need to visit your bank and make a specific request to lift these restrictions. A simpler alternative is to use a prepaid Visa card, which is generally not linked to a bank account and can often facilitate international payments.
