The first Scientific Council meeting of 2026 was held on the morning of Thursday, January 15, 2025, in the Norbert Béhi room at the CSRS, both online and in person. 

The Scientific Council is an advisory body to the Director General and the Board of Directors. It is composed of scientific figures representing the CSRS's areas of research. The SC meets twice a year in ordinary session.

The Scientific Council includes an Institutional Ethics Committee that ensures the quality of projects to be submitted at the national and international levels.
