Official launch of the project to set up a microservices platform for smart and sustainable document and data management, nageruHiveCI.

On the morning of Wednesday, September 17, 2025, Prof. Koudou Benjamin, Director of Research and Development at CSRS, officially opened the NageruHiveCI launch workshop.

This project is supported by Spain's Center for the Development of Industrial Technologies (CDTI), represented by Mr. Jose Manuel DURAN, which funds technological innovation and R&D+i projects.

The project is partly funded by the CDTI through the Spanish company NAGERU, which specializes in intelligent and sustainable data and document management based on artificial intelligence (AI). The financing of this project is partly covered by the CDTI through the Spanish company NAGERU, which specializes in intelligent and sustainable data and document management based on artificial intelligence (AI).

Following Mr. Duran, Mr. Roger Kpon, Computer Engineer and Head of Technology and Information Systems at CSRS and project leader, discussed the history of the project's creation and the challenges in terms of data and document management that led to the implementation of this digital tool integrating processes and models for improving data and document management in research structures and universities, using artificial intelligence (AI).

Mr. Roberto Gonzalez, CEO of NAGERU, then gave a demonstration of a prototype of the proposed solution.

The project's activities and prospects were presented to the participants. It should be noted that, in addition to researchers from the Swiss Center, other institutional representatives such as Dr. Annette Ouattara from Fonsti/PASRES, representatives from the National Center for Agricultural Research (CNRA) and ESATIC (African Higher School of ICT), and EMSP (Multinational Higher School of Posts) were also present. PASRES, representatives from the National Agricultural Research Center (CNRA) and ESATIC (African Higher School of ICT), and EMSP (Multinational Higher School of Post) were also present at the workshop.

At the end of these presentations, the audience showed great interest by asking a barrage of relevant questions, which gave the organizers an opportunity to respond to specific concerns.

In an era of exponential growth in scientific data, NageruHiveCI, a platform based on a micro-services architecture integrating AI, a model of cooperation between Spain and Côte d'Ivoire, is welcomed as a solution for the intelligent storage and organization of documents   that meets the requirements of:

-Reliability,

-Security and traceability

-Advanced search,

-Interoperability

-Scalability

-Technological diversity

This platform improves data management for real-time access to all relevant information,  a challenge for research institutions, colleges, and universities. The NageruHiveCi platform could also be implemented in other fields such as healthcare, education, and agriculture .
