A view of the room during the CEO's presentation

Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, 2025, were the dates chosen by the CSRS Management to review its activities. The management committee invited all heads of departments, divisions, units, and teams to the Norbert Behi room to review achievements, reinforce the CSRS vision, and define priorities for 2026.

The retreat began with a welcome address by the Director General, Professor Inza KONE, to all participants. Following this warm welcome, he presented the CSRS's annual review and outlook, highlighting major achievements and challenges for 2026. In addition, Dr. Daouda DAO, Director of Valorization and Expertise (DVE), Prof. Benjamin KOUDOU, Director of Resources and Development (DRD), and Ms. Khady SALL, Administrative and Financial Director (DAF), did the same for each of the departments under their responsibility.

After the various reviews, the rest of the program was filled with the following activities: :

●    A master class on corporate IT security in the age of AI, led by Mr. Kpon Roger, Head of the TSI Department, highlighting best practices and challenges in protecting CSRS data and systems.

●    A workshop on structuring the CSR approach in the context of the CSRS, led by Prof. Karim Ouattara and Dr. Ariane Amin, researchers at the CSRS, highlighting the challenges and opportunities for the CSRS to engage in a Corporate Social Responsibility approach.

The participants greatly appreciated the presentations, as evidenced by the content of the discussions.

In the same spirit, the participants worked in small groups on topics related to the functioning of the CSRS.

The highly enriching insights gained from this work have led to recommendations for improving the productivity and motivation of all teams (employees and researchers).

The 2025 edition reaffirmed the CSRS's determination to build a more efficient and resilient institution for its development.
